Downwind Run with Kainoa B, Duane DeSoto and Friends

This video is from May 08. This was one of my earlier downwind runs. The crew was Kainoa B, Duane DeSoto and friends. Kainoa did a different type of tandem on this run. He had his friend Ann, who is his Access Surf partner on the front of his 12′ board and then surfed it once we got to Toes. Once you see Ann, you will see why we have no excuses.
This was a strong offshore wind day and Duane ended up paddling back upwind to help out one of the girls. The guy is an animal. Look at how much he won by in the Molokai Race. I think he did this downwinder on a 10′6″ board.
