This coming Sunday September 21st, Blue Planet customers can once again try out our demo boards for free at our SUP Clinics. Please note that this is only for customers interested in purchasing a board from Blue Planet and we will have a special offer on used and new boards, available only to clinic participants. The instructional clinic for beginners will be held by Blue Planet owner and head coach, Robert Stehlik. Our staff will also be available to give equipment advice and advanced technique coaching on request.

Thomas King makes his country proud today in Surf City by claiming victory
South Africa increasingly seems to be making its presence felt in the international surfing scene from big wave surfing to regular world tour surfing, but now here on the Stand up World Tour, as the South African contingent put on a show today in the Trials component of the Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam.

Surfing on Raceboards:
This Wednesday we will talk about surfing raceboards, warm up, do a sprint out to the Blinker Buoy, then practice catching and surfing waves in the bay.

Rough Water training:
In preparation for the Wet Feet Blue Planet race coming up on Sept. 14th, we will paddle out to Portlock Point again for some more rough water paddling.
Please note: meeting time is 5 PM at the Hawaii Kai boat ramp.
Instead of the regular time trial course, we will paddle up to Portlock point and then around the point, upwind in the rough waters for as far as you like, then return to the boat ramp. Mo Freitas storms to victory here at Day 1 of the Shonan Chigasaki Pro Japan
History was made in Japan as World Class competition met the shores of Chigasaki Beach for the first ever World Challenger Series event in Asia. With strong 20 mile per hour winds and some wind blown surf to make the course more interesting, the scene was set for the World Series Sprint Racing on Day 1 of the Shonan Chigasaki Pro presented by Noah Nic and Jeep.
