Location X Finals to air this Sunday at 3pm EST on NBC
The Stand Up World Tour’s presence on NBC continues this month with an airing this weekend at 3pm EST / 12pm PST / 10am HST on World of Adventure Sports. The show is hosted from the British Virgin Islands and will look back at the year on Tour through all its dramatic stops, only to end with the Location X Finals and the culmination of the 2012 Stand Up World Tour. So make sure to tune in at 3pm (EST) this Sunday 23rd December to watch an epic look at another incredible year for the Stand Up World Tour.

Leco Salazar wins the Location X Finals & 2012 World Title
In a dramatic and emotional finish here at Finlandia’s Location X Finals presented by the Moorings and in association with Starboard, the Brazilian Leco Salazar was crowned not only event winner, but 2012 World Champion here on the Stand Up World Tour.

If there was ever a perfect resort for stand up paddlers and surfers, Turtle Bay would easily come in first place. It’s really the only large resort on Oahu’s north shore and is positioned to give active vacationers everything they need. When I stay on the North Shore, Turtle Bay is now where I stay. 15 year old Mo Freitas makes history on the Stand up World Tour by storming to victory against Leco Salazar at the Ubatuba Pro presented by Art in Surf. From the outset, he demonstrated flawless rail to rail power surfing, dominating his heats all the way through to the man on man quarters, where he came up against current ratings leader Sean Poynter and won.

Stand Up World Tour now live today from Ubatuba, Brazil
The Stand Up World Tour is once again back in Brazil this week for Stop 4, as the World’s best congregate once again to do battle at the beautiful Itamambuca Beach in Ubatuba. The action is already underway and being streamed live with the Trials now in the water.

Kai Lenny secures an impressive win at Turtle Bay and his first World Racing Title
Kai Lenny (Naish) put on a dominant performance over the weekend to secure his first Racing World Championship Title ahead of a field of international powerhouses. Coming into Pacifico’s Stand Up World Series Finals at Turtle Bay leading the overall rankings for the year, (wearing the yellow jersey as a result), Kai knew that he had to finish strong at home in Hawaii to ensure that the first racing Title would be his.
