My wife got one of these surf inspired shirts and wanted to write about it so here it is:
I was so thrilled to receive The Ryde t-shirt in the mail! When opening the package and taking out the shirt I noticed immediately the quality of the shirt, the color was vibrant and the material was soft. I couldnʼt wait to put it on and feel it against my skin. Upon putting it on, I immediately noticed that the shirt fit perfect to size and the material was very soft and comfortable. Sander from Surftech sent over these pics from the Outdoor Retailer Expo and demo day. I spoke with Joe Bark the other day and he was thrilled at the response from everyone. All in all, I hear it was a lot of fun and more proof that stand up paddling is here to stay. I wish I was there to try all the new stuff.

In this video, Dave looks at the dimensions of the Shaka Puu paddle and talks briefly about the absence of data that could help in determining which paddle is right for the individual. Right now, he Dave says, the best way to find out what type of paddle is ideal for the surfer is to go out and try different designs and see what suits best.

The Kialoa Shaka Pu’u is a sweet paddle. I saw a bunch of them in the Makaha Makahiki and there was Mel Pu’u himself with a pink paddle and pink board. You may snicker until you see that Mel is 250 lbs and could crush your skull with one hand. The paddle looked small compared to his size. Continue reading ‘Kialoa Shaka Puu on a Diet’

Disclaimer: This is not a production C4 paddle.
What happens when you mix a C4 paddle and a circular saw?
You get the Diamond E model paddle – named by me.
