Kai Lenny & Candice Appleby are crowned 2015 World Champions
It was an epic close to the 2015 season here at Turtle Bay, as we saw extremely competitive racing and dramatic finishes in both the long distance and sprint racing that led to the crowning of 2 new World Champions for 2015.

Epic forecast in place for a dramatic final event of the 2015 season that will decide the 2015 World Champions at Turtle Bay Resort
It will once again all come down to this dramatic final weekend of the season to decide the 2015 World Championship Title for the Men, and establish podium positions overall for the women, as Turtle Bay is once again set to deliver a show like no other.

The 2015 Pacific Paddle Games was one of the biggest, craziest and the most stacked field of athletes I have ever competed against.
The first day kicked off with the first round of the technical race, which was four rounds of 25 people. And the top athletes made it straight to the semi-final round. The losers went into a repercharge round – and the winners of the repercharge would go to the semi-finals.

A full day of action sees stand out performances, surprise exits and the tightest World Title Race in history for both Men and Women

Kai Lenny excels in the sprint racing to secure the win take the Overall victory here at the Victoria Cup Hayama Pro in Japan
In a dramatic Final heat here at stop #2 of the 2015 Stand Up World Series, Kai Lenny (Naish) digs deep and resets himself mid way through to find a window of opportunity while rounding the final buoy to take the win in the sprint racing component of the Victoria Cup Hayama Pro. Once round the buoy, he accelerated to move into second past the World Rankings leader Connor Baxter (Starboard), then past Casper to move into first and take victory on this final day of action.

Connor Baxter continues his winning streak to take the win in the long distance on Day 1 of the Victoria Cup Hayama Pro Japan
Connor Baxter (Starboard) puts on another stellar performance in today’s long distance race to take the win on Day 1 here in Japan, but not without a serious battle. Connor led through the first lap, but on the upwind leg on lap 2, Kai Lenny (Naish) was able to battle back to take the lead coming into the top buoy.

This year’s M2O race was the most challenging and grueling in recent memory.
The Blue Planet 14′ x 28″ Bump Rider model was well represented and the results show that this board works great in all conditions. It excels in good downwind conditions but also glides well in light winds.

Ane Zulaika Aranburu secures victory in the sprint racing today, taking the overall event win and the European Cup Title
Ane Zulaika Aranburu (Bic SUP) has been one of the most consistent competitors across this year’s European Cup, putting on a solid performance at the Barcelona SUP World Series to finish in 5th, then a runner up finish behond Celine Guesdon (Bic SUP) in Finland, and now backing it up with a win here at the Final event of the Cup here in Italy after 2 epic days of racing.
