Stand Up Paddle Surf Sprint race at the Teva Mountain Games

Mirrored off the classic Down River Sprint, the Maui Jim SUP Surf Sprint presented by C4 Waterman is a race against the clock in the heart of Vail on Gore Creek. Anyone up for the challenge will run this 3-mile stretch of Gore Creek from East Vail to Vail Village SUP style. Competitors must stand strong because snow melt from the nearby Gore Range makes for icy waters while navigating the class II/III course. Local Surfers and Paddleboarders Raise $18,000 for SurfAid at the Third Annual Paddle for Humanity

Encinitas, CA –This past Saturday, April 30th, 182 athletes gathered at Doheny State Beach to compete in the 3rd Annual Paddle for Humanity to benefit SurfAid International. The paddleboarding and stand up paddle (SUP) fundraiser attracted some of the region’s best paddlers, who competed in the 6-mile elite race, and dozens more who participated in the 2-mile fun paddle.
